**Borrowing requirements**: patron must: be 18 years of age or older, Borrower must use his/her own valid Basic or Expanded Salt Lake City Public library card and present appropriate photo identification. Under no circumstances may a borrower use another person's library card or face sheet. The borrower must be in good standing (no bills over $25.00) and be a registered SLCPL library card holder for a minimum of 90 days. Borrowers must read, understand, and acknowledge the Salt Lake City Public Library Hotspot Checkout Agreement. Any changes in condition while in the borrower’s care will be the borrower’s responsibility. The borrower is responsible for damage, loss, or theft. borrowers should have a basic working knowledge of the device on checkout. Do not tamper with the security features. Be advised that the hotspots are an open wireless connection and the Library is not responsible for information accessed using this device or for personal information shared over the internet. Hotspot users are encouraged to follow safe internet practices. Hotspot users should refrain from online activity that violates federal, state or local law.
