Jane is a bright young woman who longs for, but always feared change. Following the sudden murder of her fianc,̌ she finds herself caught in a web of manipulation by a bar owner and his estranged wife. The detective leading the case is Jane's old friend, but Jane questions if he can bring justice to the case.
