The contestants find chaos from the beginning as they race against time to gather materials from a supply boat. The familiar scene is reminiscent of the first challenge fifteen years ago. This season introduces two new twists, both, which add plotting, doubt, and anxiety. First, every idol looks different, prompting castaways to wonder if it is real or fake. Second, idols are hidden in the middle of challenges, giving players an added hurdle: retrieve it without anyone noticing.
