In They made me a criminal, a high-living prizefighter Johnny Bradfield, is wanted for a murder he didn't commit and flees to avoid arrest. While hiding out on a ranch in Arizona, he meets up with a group of juvenile delinquents. Bradfield takes it upon himself to set the kids straight, as a detective closes in on the boxer. In Lady gangster, an actress gets mixed up with a criminal gang and winds up taking the rap for a $40,000 robbery. Before she's sent to prison, she steals the money from her cohorts and hides it, intending to use it as a bargaining chip to win her release from prison. However, her former partners have other ideas.
