Summary:	The official film of the Games of the XIV Olympiad London 1948 is the first in color and seeks to comprise both the winter and summer events from that year. St. Moritz features in the early part of the documentary, but then London comes to the fore. A record total of fifty-nine countries sent delegations to London in 1948, and for the first time the number of athletes exceeded four thousand. The emphasis on track and field is unabashed in The Glory of Sport, but the coverage of most sports cannot be faulted. Supervising cameraman Stanley Sayer marshaled his team of cameramen with a keen eye and deft precision.
