In most depictions of wounded warriors, the women stand stoically in the background. Here they are given a voice, and are followed as they struggle, triumph, and wonder about the challenges that lie ahead. Follows four military spouses and a military mother over five years, the film follows the lives of the caregivers of veterans who have been catastrophically wounded in America's longest war. Their lives are transformed overnight to twenty-four/seven caregivers tasked with caring for their war-wounded. The film reveals the family dynamic, their relationships before the wounds of war, and now, the uncertainties that lie ahead.
