A mysterious and deadly storm pattern targets the heartland of America in this shocking story of weather gone wild. Meteorologist Jamie reluctantly leaves work for a much needed vacation with his fractured family. As they head for their isolated cabin in separate cars, news reports start to pour in detailing vicious lightning strikes in the surrounding areas. As the clan splits up to do their own thing, the lightning starts wreaking havoc practically on top of them. The family finds out fast that they need to work together to survive the high voltage terror from above.
