After a strange meteorite crashes into the quiet town of Metzburgh, Glen stumbles upon the crash site and becomes infected by an alien substance. When he is rushed off to the doctor, Glen's infection begins to spread, transforming the residents of the small town into a horde of dangerous mutated creatures. Now a small group of survivors must escape from the infected while being hunted by a special containment team, as well as the alien monster from which the infection originated.
