TV producer Ryan Bolt is hired to do a documentary on a Rhode Island governor, a fast-rising candidate in a U.S. presidential election. He discovers the man is financed by the Mafia which is buying up TV time everywhere as part of a plot to have its man in the White House, a discovery that puts his life in danger.
