Summary:

Mysterious island: Escaping from a Confederate prison by balloon, the survivors land on an uncharted island in the Pacific. The island is home to carnivorous monsters, bloodthirsty pirates, and the mad genius Captain Nemo, who inhabits the island for his own strange ends.

Ten commandments: Escaping death, a Hebrew infant named Moses is raised in a royal household to become a prince. Moses discovers what his true heritage is, and starts on his quest to reclaim his destiny as leader and liberator of the Hebrew people.
