Tracks 1-12 were recorded on transcriptions for World Records between 1942 and 1945. Tracks 13-20 were recorded with Cugat's Waldorf-Astoria Orchestra between June 1939 and June 1940, with vocals by Dinah Shore. Track 21 was recorded in 1942. All titles were recorded in New York, apart from tracks 7 and 12, recorded in Los Angeles.
