During the latter stages of the Civil War, a gang of supposed Confederates, headed by Alex Morel, raid all gold shipments destined for Washington from Oro Grande, California. A Union Secret Service Agent with the aid of his faithful side-kick and a pretty Wells Fargo agent, overcomes the gold raiders and even rounds up a group of Prussian spies.
