- The percentage of women between the ages of 25 and 29 who are single has skyrocketed from 10.5% in 1970 to nearly 40% in 2000. These women have made books about single women like themselves bestsellers, as evidenced by the phenomenal success of "Sex and the City (Warner, 1997) and "Good In Bed (Washington Square Press, 3/02), which sold over 700,000 copies in trade paperback.- Suzanne Schlosberg has written or co-written eight fitness books, which have collectively sold over 600,000 copies. She is also a contributing editor to "Shape magazine.
