When Hope Howard is fired for no apparent reason, she returns to her childhood home. Soon after her former boss, a desperate scientist, discovers she holds the secret to his fatal illness. Back home Hope encounters her old boyfriend and her father, both of whom she is estranged from. Meanwhile her former boss tracks her down and a statewide chase ensues culminating with Hope having to face her pursuer. Hope must decide whether to hang onto bitterness or embrace forgiveness. The movie tells the story of the power of redemption and reconciliation through forgiveness.
