A collection that reflects the many dimensions of Sakamoto's career, from the diversity of sound the consummate musician has traversed to the continued legacy of his work on artists of all backgrounds. The album features reworked versions of Sakamoto's songs, referred to as "remodels", by artists including Devonté Hynes, the Cinematic Orchestra, Hildur Guðnadóttir, Alva Noto, and David Sylvian. Sakamoto's style covered many genres over his 50+ year career: electronic, film scores, pop, world, classical, experimental, ambient, various forms of fusion, funk, early synthesisers, musique concrete and Japanese folk music.
